Dinos a the ROM

Fascinating in the way so much is similar to what we see now, and only a few million years apart. Wish I could be there for weeks, first study drawing what I see, then playing with it. Don't know why bones fascinate me so much?

Don't know if you know this, but until, I think, the 60s or 70s two legged Dinos were always mounted with their spines nearly vertical (so their tails would trail on the ground) - to do this though the museums had to break parts of the spinal column, and ignore the shape of the pelvis completely.

I wish I'd been able to go with you guys :P

Oh wow, these are great little sketches! The intricacies of skeletons can be really daunting but you've managed to be precise but still spontaneous and evocative. Great job! Can't go wrong with dinos.
